Panther Creek High School opens its doors in Frisco ISD, and the golf program tees off with its first Panthers - a brand-new team building an identity from scratch.

State becomes the standard
The girls reach the UIL State Tournament for the first time in school history. A breakthrough spring changes what Panther Creek golf expects of itself.

Right back to Austin
The girls return to the state tournament for the second straight year, and the program grows around them - deeper varsity lineups and a new wave coming up behind.

Both programs win district - the boys in 40 mph winds at Westridge. The girls sweep regionals with the top three individual spots and finish 3rd in the state of Texas, the best finish in school history.

The 5A era begins
UIL realignment moves Panther Creek into District 6-5A. Bigger schools, deeper fields - and both programs return the core that got them here. The work starts over, and that's the fun part.
